Media Filtration System
Media filters are used to protect water quality in streams, rivers, and lakes. They can be effective at removing pollutants in stormwater such as suspended solids and phosphorus. Sand is the most common filter material.
The MFS system utilizes variable flow controls, media-filled cartridges, and a storage sump to capture and retain a broad spectrum of pollutants to meet stringent regulatory requirements. Multiple cartridge heights allow specifiers to obtain the benefits of a filtration system within the available hydraulic grade line on the project.
Rainwater Management manufactures and installs media filtration systems.
